Visitors to Serendipity Lodge do indeed find it to be a very happy unexpected discovery! Serendipity Lodge is available for use by BHCS consumers and employees. It is located on Lake Ida in Alexandria, Minnesota. Alexandria is approximately two hours west on Hwy 94 and the Lodge is about fifteen minutes from Alex.

Consumer trips are organized by staff and program directors. BHCS employees who have been with the company for at least one year are also eligible to use the lodge with their family and/or friends for a weekend trip once a year.

Serendipity Lodge is one level on a flat piece of land with gardens as well as room for volleyball, badminton, croquet, and tents. The three bedroom year-round log home has two bathrooms, a laundry room, kitchen, sunroom, and a very large living room. It also has a mini bunkhouse that sleeps two people. The house itself can sleep up to ten. The lodge is beautifully furnished from top to bottom. There’s even a washer and dryer! Guests only need to bring food, clothes, towels, and linens.
