Vacation Benefits

Paid Time Off

Our Company presents one of the most generous paid time off programs in the industry. Employees regularly scheduled for 35 or more hours per week are entitled to paid time off. This benefit is calculated according to the number of hours worked, and is available for use upon completion of six months of regular employment.

PTO Share

Earning PTO is great… sharing it with someone who really needs it might just be even better! Those who face a serious medical or other hardship and do not have enough PTO to cover their lost time may be eligible to receive PTO donated by co-workers.

Holiday Pay

Time and one half is paid to any employee who works on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Personal Leave Bank (PLB)

This is an optional benefit program for all full time employees. It allows an employee to set aside hours in a “bank” which can be used for extended absences for special circumstances such as medical hardships. The purpose of the bank is to provide protection – a kind of “cushion” - for participating employees in the event of long-term absences.

Family and Medical Leave

Up to twelve weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave is granted to eligible employees for special situations in an employee’s life.

Special Leave Compensation

Qualified employees will be eligible for paid leaves of absence for situations involving serious medical hardships or catastrophic illness. This Special Leave is above and beyond any regular paid time off the employee may have accrued. Length of leave granted is based upon employment tenure with the Company.

Special Leave of Absence

Special circumstances may merit special leaves. Our Company may allow you to take time off for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to: child school conferences, jury duty, military leave, voting time off and more.

Sabbatical Leave

Employees who have contributed to the Company’s mission for a number of years will be eligible for participation in a Sabbatical Leave Program. This great new program allows you to give back to the greater world community while receiving your regular salary! After five eligible years, you may choose to spend a week in volunteer service in a wide variety of Minnesota locales. Ten years may find you doing two weeks of volunteer work just about anywhere in the U.S., and fifteen years or more could find you offering your services for up to three weeks somewhere far across the sea!
